The term "Bam Shock Dodge!" is used widely throughout the Mario Kart Wii community. This is one of Troy's most well known quotes. Players often use this term when someone is not affected by the lightning bolt. You can dodge the "shock" by a variety of ways. The term was born when Troy was racing with the Dry Bones-Magikruiser combo on Maple Treeway as a last resort during a clan war against the Koopa Clan. During the race Troy dodged the shock twice in the cannon located at the start of the course.
Ways To Dodge The Shock:
- Using a star
- Using a Bullet Bill
- Using a mega mushroom (Only MKW)
- Using a boo (Not in MKDD, MKW, or MK7)
- Falling off the course (Also known as the Scrub Dodge)
- Going through a cannon - This is how the shock dodge was born.
- There are also some special items in MKDD that can dodge the shock.
